This deck was a re cover of an existing deck. Our team removed all of the old cedar decking, and facia. Also removed a built in hot tub and framed in the void to create a large flat very large deck. (about 35 feet long) We install Trex Transcend decking in the color "Havana gold" for the field and the color "Island mist" for the accent perimeter boards and hand rail cap. The handrail was also the Transcend series by trex with the optional black round metal balusters and the flat "cocktail" style rail cap. in addition to the deck.
The trim work included wrapping the roof support posts and beam with tight knot cedar and staining with a natural finish. The Facia also TK cedar with a skirting of tk cedar channel siding. To keep out the pests.
Two electrical outlets were added as well as overhead fan/light combos and stair tread lighting.
This was definitely one of the higher end decks with just about every option, and will last them several decades before needing any kind of upgrade.
